About Us

Hill and Sons (NW) Ltd was established early last century and is now the last remaining beechwood riddle and sieve maker in Great Britain.  From the workshop in a 19th century mill in the Peak District, Damien, Jason and their team manufacture hand crafted beechwood riddles, sieves and traditional garden implements such as dibbers, pot tampers, seed trays, plant markers, seed lines and many other traditional wooden items.
